Metrology
We have a world leading metrological engine based on the ultrasonic technique, for gas and water measurement. It has been proven on numerous gases, including pure methane and hydrogen. The technology has unrivalled accuracy with a simple calibration scheme, independent of temperature and media. All at extremely low power to ensure maximum battery lifetime.
Communications
Advanced and smart metering have ushered in the era of connectivity for metering devices. MeterTech have embedded a wide range of communications technologies, from Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) technologies like NB-IOT and LTE-M, as well as ZigBee, wireless M-Bus and GSM. MeterTech can provide integration into head end systems (HES) and meter data management systems (MDMS)
Full meter solutions
MeterTech have mechanical, electronics, firmware and software engineering teams to provide bespoke expertise for your design needs. We have built numerous gas, water and electricity meters, providing support from concept to manufacture and approvals. We have experience in building up a reliable but low cost supply chain. We are a world leader in ATEX or IECEx compliant design, ensuring intrinsic safety up to Zone 0 (Category 1).
